The Story

This Is My Theory of what the story is abot and what i heard.

All The Warriors Think That Mortal Kombat is over,But if you play as Reptile and end it with him You'll see that he Transformed and turned into Like a Dragon type Monster.
Thats why some people and me Think That the Game if going to be Mainly about stoping Reptile a.k.a. The Dragon King.

Now about the whole Liu Kang Thing about him being Evil,I think its going to be True Because At the end of Quan Chi's Story Liu Kang's Soul Jumped into Kanos Body.
But i think Liu Kang found his Body but now is Evil Because He's been in Kanos Body to Long.
